He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Dawson and Ruby Mimms Dawson; and his sister Susan Natolli. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Van Doren Dawson; and his son Jonathan Dawson. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
