He is survived by: his wife Frances Bishop Thornton; his daughter Linda Cox (Dale); his grandchildren, Heidi Frye (Joe) and Travis Dull; his great grandchild Porsha Charles Frye; and his sisters, Ruth Savage and Ann Heizer (Sam). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
