She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Sampson and Emma Sampson; her husband Richard R. "Dick" Futch; and her son Mark R. Futch. She is survived by: her stepdaughter Cheryl F. Pope (Ronnie) of North Carolina; her brother Marvin "Dooley" Sampson; her stepgrandsons, Aaron and Adam; her nieces, Betty Ann Taylor and Karla Purdham; and her great-nephew Logan Taylor. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
