He is survived by: his wife Margaret Maxey; his sons, Bo Maxey (Tammy) and Tony Maxey (Melissa); his grandson Isaac Wade Maxey; and his siblings, James Maxey (Nellie), Danny Maxey (Pat), Rick Maxey (Sharon), Nick Maxey, Ronnie Maxey, Barbara Irby, Wanda Long (Jimmy), Sandra Ratcliff and Connie Maxey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
