We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2018, Richard Helm (Shawsville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mawyer E. Helm and Hilda B. Helm. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hodges Helm; his son Richard Skyler Helm (Jessica); his grandsons, Helm Boston and Jesse Boston; his siblings, Thomas E. Helm (Carolyn) and Connie Cumbie (Cy); and his siblings-in-law, Alan Hodges, Bobby Hodges (Debbie) and Doris Sisson (Albert Furrow). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Shawsville Rescue Squad or your favorite charity is suggested.
