Larry Helms Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Helms (Shawsville, Virginia), who passed away on April 22, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sons, Matthew and Mitchell Helms; and his parents, Walter Helms and Joan Helms. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Helms; his children, Jennifer (William Oldham), Danny (Kendra Helms), Ashley Hall and Kayla Palmer; his grandchildren, Harley, Shelby, Nevaeh, Logan, Skye, Ryan and Aria; his aunts and uncles, Russell, Gayle Creasey, Wayne and Annie Helms; his siblings, Patricia Clark and Robbie Helms; and his nieces and nephews, Stacey Bibb, Darrell Bibb, Chris Bibb, Zach Helms and Taylor Helms. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews as well as great-great-nieces and nephews, along with many cousins, family members and many friends.
Due to the current pandemic a private service will be held Monday, April 27, 2020 with Pastor Jack Finley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America in honor of Larry's courageous battle.
