Jonathan Darnell Linkous Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonathan Darnell Linkous of Shawsville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 59. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jonathan Darnell leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Linkous and Annie Stella Early Linkous; and his sister Pamela Iris Linkous. He is survived by: his daughters, Tabitha Ann Linkous (Matt), Jessica Danielle Linkous and Stephanie Faith Linkous; his siblings, Priscilla Patrick (Mike), Ponnie Shawver (Ben), Debbie Gallimore (Eddie), Clayton Linkous (Jo) and Gilbert "Butch" Linkous (Gina); and his aunt Charlotte Matuseavich. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church (674 Alleghany Spring Rd, Shawsville, VA 24162). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
