He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelby Wright and Bonnie McAllister Wright; and his siblings, Lewis Sawyers, Richard Allen Sawyers, Rita Hall Debord, Anita Sawyers and Sheila Sawyers.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Wright; his son Robert Wright of Shawsville, VA; his sister Patricia Smith; his grandsons, Matthew Wright (Kayla Carter) and Mark Wright (Rene McIntire); and his great grandchildren, Dekin Wright, Catelyn Wright, Sebastian Wright, Curtis Carter and Roxie Carter.
