He was predeceased by: his son Karl Wyatt Davis; and his granddaughter Karly Elizabeth Davis. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jean Jaeger Davis; his children, Ryan Maston Davis, Todd Hunter Davis (Jessica), Gene Dobyns Davis and Channing Noel Davis Thompson (Sam); and his grandchildren, Madison Jenny Davis, Carissa Hunter Davis, Sam Wyatt Thompson, Caroline Rose Thompson and Lindsay Jean Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northern Neck CASA, P. O. Box 695, Lancaster, VA 22503 or RWC Foundation, 132 Lancaster Dr., Irvington, VA 22480 (designated for Parkinson's Support Group).
