It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clarence R. Lawson (Shacklefords, Virginia), who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Margaret Mills, Edna Carter, Betty Davis, Barbara Ripchick, Alice Howell and Lucille Brown; and his grandson-in-law John G. Hart, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Grace Carlton Lawson; his daughter Kay Lumpkin (Richard); his granddaughter Jennifer Hart; and his great grandchild Gracie Hart. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
