He was predeceased by: his mother Jeannette Hockett; and his mother-in-law Rosie Testerman. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Aker; his father Jack Aker; his son Brandon Aker of Russell County; his stepchildren, Cheyenne Mobley Peake, Nicole Mobley, Victoria Mobley and Desiree Harris; his brother Jeff Aker; his grandchildren, Braxton Aker and Chole Aker; his siblings-in-law, Marie Shumate (Roger), William Testerman (Nancy), Tommy Testerman and James Testerman (Crystal); and his significant other Steve Crouse.
