She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bennett Lee Edwards, Jr. and Bernice Vick Edwards; her husband Ernest Dale Phipps; her children, Tina Clark (Jeff), Kelly Holemon (James), Kevin Story (Heather), Mitch Phipps (Megan) and Brandon Phipps (Courtney); her siblings, Dale Edwards Holt (Ricky), Brenda Edwards Flowers (William "Tal" Murphy) and James Kenneth "Kenny" Edwards (Marsha); and her grandchildren, Darrien, Leah, Christian, Corey, Miranda, Jacee, Kayle, Jade, James III and Carley.
