She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Roosevelt Drake, Sr. and Iva Holland Drake; and her siblings, Dorothy Burgess, Theodore R. "Ted" Drake, Jr., Wilbur Turner and Melvin Turner.
She is survived by: her husband William Nick Kitchen, III; her children, William Nick Kitchen, IV, Robin Kitchen Johnson and Martha Elizabeth "Beth" Kitchen; and her grandchildren, Amanda Kate Johnson, Jenna Kit Johnson, Dalton Nicholas Hedgepeth and Drake Marlowe Holliday.
