She was predeceased by: her parents, Fenton O. Beale and Esther Bradshaw Beale. She is survived by: her husband James Clifton Copeland, Jr.; her son Richard Bowen; her siblings, Betsy Creason (David), Tracy Gnieski (Lee) and Johnie Beale (Diana); and her stepchildren, Linda Copeland Gregory, Kathy Copeland Larson, Christine Copeland Cutchins and James Clifton Copeland, III. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or any favorite charity.
