We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2020, at the age of 92, Nana Whitley (Sedley, Virginia), born in Isle of Wight, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David F. "Papa" Whitley; her parents, Charlie E. Williams and Ethel Gay Williams; her son Michael Whitley; and her granddaughter Jennifer Bradshaw.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Carter (Rob) of Hunterdale, June Davenport (Jobie) of Windsor, NC and Betty Whitley of Sedley; her grandchildren, Carlton Whitley (Sharon) of Sedley, Mark Whitley (Jennifer) of Sedley, Brian Whitley (Heather) of Sedley, Patricia Davis (Ben) of Courtland, Christina Fowler (Pete) of Newsoms, Christine Whitley Martinez (Steve) of Raleigh, NC, Brad Davenport (Kelli) of Greenville, NC, Stephanie Brantley (Matthew) of Sedley and Troy Newsoms (Holly) of Newsoms; and also, Linda of Sedley, Frankie Newsome of Sedley, David Lee of Sedley and Phyllis Bradshaw of Sedley.
