He was predeceased by: his sister Inez Freeman; his son Lloyd Byrd, Jr. (Deloris); and his brothers, Roger Holloman and Johnnie Holloman. He is survived by: his uncle Eddie; his wife Gracie Banks; his children, Gracie Sandford (Alfred), Lucy Jones, Deana Myrick (Bruce), Mary Hawkins (Lenious), Laura Warren and Charlie Byrd (Sabrina); and his sisters, Ernell Boone and Audrey Grant (James). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
