She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Carter Francis and Louise Vick Francis; her children, Betty Josephine Johnson and Stephen Lee Johnson; and her brother Kermit Francis.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Benjamin "JB" Johnson, Jr.; her son Benjamin Carter Johnson (Kimberly); her sister Peggy Vann; her grandchildren, Benjamin Carter Johnson II (Kendall), Shelby Elizabeth Andleton of Roland James, Andleton, Mary Ellis and Andrew Ellis; and her great grandchildren, Lilly Washburn, Stephen Johnson and Benjamin "Benji" Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Monday in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Southampton Academy or Sedley Baptist Church. wrightfuneralhome.org.
