He was predeceased by: his parents, Octo Creasey and Evelyn Barbour Creasey; his siblings, Garland D. Creasey, Lucille C. Collier and Sabrah C. Cobb; and his son-in-law Dannie Cheek.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret "Peggy" Creasey Cheek (Tommy), James Allen Creasey, Jr. and Diane Creasey Ruple (Jerry); his close friend Patricia Ann Carr; his brother Jewell Creasey (Shirley); his brother-in-law Edward Williams (Ida); his grandchildren, Jamie D. Cheek (Rachael), David Allen Cheek (Amanda), Dustin M. Clary, Emily H. Creasey (Andrew), Brandelyn C. Clements (Aaron) and Richard Allen Creasey; his great grandchildren, Mali and Leo Clements; and his child Furbie.
The family is welcoming visitors at the residence and suggest memorials be made to the Sedley Volunteer Fire Department or to Rosemont Cemetery.
