She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Raiford, Sr. and Kathleen Bradshaw Raiford; her husband Howard Smith "Smitty" Hancock, Jr.; and her brother Walter H. "Junior" Raiford, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Chris Hancock (Gina) of Sedley; her sister Barbara Ann Raiford Brown of Manteo, NC; her grandchildren, Nicole H. Russell (Andy) and Kelly H. Magruder (Austin); and her great grandchildren, Connor, Lane, Emma and Abby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace Memorial United Methodist Church (31036 Peachtree Ave, Sedley, VA 23878). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church and suggests that memorial donations be made to Grace Memorial United Methodist Church.
