He was predeceased by: his son Samuel Honeycutt, III; his parents, Samuel D. Honeycutt, Sr. and Rose Hill Honeycutt; and his brothers, Harry Wayne Honeycutt, Freddy Honeycutt and Eddy Ray Honeycutt.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rowe Honeycutt; his nieces, Brenda H. Mills and Cindy H. Fulgham; his nephew Harry Wayne Honeycutt; his sister-in-law Susan M. Rowe; his niece Autumn Oestreicher; his great-niece Isis Lewis; and also, Lewis, Sam Stratton, Nick, Debbie Kincaid, Frank Thrift, Susan Shaw, Paul, Brenda Hogge and Emily Brown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
