We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024, Rebecca (Becky) Hodge Gibson of Seaford, Virginia, born in Rutherfordton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Rebecca farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rebecca is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esper Hodge and Katherine Hodge; and her brothers, Boyce, Dolpus and Lawrence.
She is survived by: her husband Aaron; her daughters, Becky Johnston (Wayne) and Cherylann Jones (Doug); and her brother Tommy Hodge (Diane).
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Yorkminster Presbyterian Church (6218 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown, VA 23692).
