He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lewis and Emma Pauline Napier (Davis); and his siblings, Otis, Wesley, Frank, Lloyd, Herman, Robert Napier, Emma Johnson, Estelle Roach, Edna Nees, Ruby Harris and Ruth Moltz.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Napier; his daughters, Kimberly Napier (Jason) of Staunton, Teresa Wilkerson of Amherst, Cindy Davis (Teddy) of Arvonia and Connie Gibson (Wayne) of Grottoes; his grandson Walter Randolph Napier (Randy); his siblings, Margaret Tooley of Scottsville and Douglas Napier of Palmyra; his stepdaughters, Melanie Apelt (John) of Scottsville and Stephanie Seay of Scottsville; and his caregivers, Chelsea Belew, Jessica Morris, Virginia Hunt and Shelley Hunt. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Scottsville Rescue Squad.
