He is survived by: his sons, William "Billy" Gregory Batten, Thomas "Tommy" Batten and Norman Scott "Scotty" Batten; his sister Rose Batten Wade (Edwin); his grandchildren, Daniel Scott Good (Jessica), Elizabeth Ashley Good Tolson (Benjamin), William Randolph "Randy" Sloan Batten, Thomas Bradley Batten, Nicholas Carlton Kirby, Stedman Michael Robert Batten (Nicole) and Matthew Scott "Scotty" Batten; and his pet Rat Rat. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
