With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Johnson of Scottsville, Virginia, born in Esmont, Virginia, who passed away on September 4, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mawyer and Dorothy Mawyer (Hackett); her husband Gene Nelson Johnson; and her brothers, Billy, Albert and Guy Mawyer.
She is survived by: her children, Michael K. Johnson (Cyndi) and Tracy L. Cersley (Timmy); her grandchildren, Tyler of Scottsville and Megan Cersley of Scottsville; and her siblings, Henry Hackett (Debbie) of Charlottesville, Susie Allen (Mike) of Buckingham, Rosa Catlett of Buckingham, Stella Baldwin (Donnie) of Buckingham and Molly Carter (Mike) of Scottsville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
