He is survived by: his wife Gladie Pleasants; his daughter Lisa Minter (Jimmy); his granddaughter Amber Minter Shifflett (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Blake and Wesley Shifflett; his brothers, Robert Pleasants (Patricia) and Wayne Pleasants (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Barton, Sarah Stevens (Jimmy), Lee Cutshaw (Dolphus) and Kenneth Lambert (Alma). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
