She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Batista and Maria Teresa Balbontin; her foster parents, Luther S., Alice T. Baber and Virginia; and her siblings, Ramon Batista, Jr., Alberto Batista and Orchid Batista Juncal.
She is survived by: her sister Carmen Batista Sainz of Florida; her sister-in-law Laura Batista; and her close friend Gail Huskey of Scottsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
