He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Settle; his sister Connie Johnson; his mother-in-law Norma Jean Haislip; and his son John. He is survived by: his mother Frances Settle; his wife Mandy Settle (Amanda); his daughter Katie (Katherine); his siblings, Carlton Johnson, Jr. and Laura Settle; his father-in-law Allen Haislip (Irene); and his siblings-in-law, Amy Haislip, Shannon (Heather) and Cheynne (Courtney).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church (1807 Rolling Rd S, Scottsville, VA 24590). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
