He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tyler and Ida Louise Ballowe (Adcock); and his brother Robert Ballowe. He is survived by: his wife Irene Ballowe; his daughter Joyce B. Banton (John); his stepchildren, Cheryl Napier, Diane Jamerson (Tony) and John "Bean" Napier; his siblings, Wilbur R. Ballowe and Joyce Ragland; his grandson Bradley Banton; and his stepgrandchildren, Christina Powell, Rebecca Smith, DJ Branch, Lisa Snead, Lee Snead and Jennifer Burns. He is also survived by several step-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
