He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence W. Russell and Viola B. Peck (Russell); his grandparents, Arthur, Ernestine Burrell, Lawrence J. and Nannie Russell; his sister Joy Renee Adam Parson; his brothers-in-law, Edward Adams and Robert Parson; and his pet Snickers.
He is survived by: his stepfather Thomas Peck; his wife Jean Lucille Miller Russell; his children, Rosalind Johnson (Ralph) of Scottsville, VA, Lawrence Michael Russell (Mary) of Eastvale, CA and Tina Brice (Leslie) of Palmyra, VA.; and his grandson Ralph A. Johnson (Leah Redieske) of Scottsville.
