She is survived by: her stepchildren, Eddie Payne (Maryna) of Scottsville and Peggy Hicks of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and her nieces and nephews, Edwyna McMullen Wingo of Fairfax, Robin Carpenter Rosen of Herndon, Virginia, David Carpenter of Mitchells and Meredith Childress of Grand Bay. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
