With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Coleman Vermillion of Scottsville, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Watts Vermillion of Stony Point and Marion Coleman Vermillion of Scottsville; and his brother Thomas Watts Vermillion. He is survived by: his wife Judith Oliva Vermillion; his children, David Vermillion (Mary), John C. Vermillion, Jr. (Debbie), Mary Frantz (Scotty), Emily Clancy (Ken), Ellen Herz (Mike) and Jennifer Rodriguez (Mark); and his cousin Hunter Vermillion of Williamsburg.
