It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Willard Coles of Scottsville, Virginia, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hocker and Ora Lee Rush; and his sister Carolyn C. Moon. He is survived by: his wife Margie Catherine Ayers Coles; his daughters, Catrina Barbour (Matthew), April Coles and Jessica Coles; his sister Barbara Shaw; his grandchildren, Sierra, T'Keyah, Mariah and Anubia; and his pet Buster. He is also survived by other grandchild on the way; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
