He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwards Davis and Sarah Hester Winston Davis; his wife Edna Moss Davis; his siblings, Calvin, Cliff, Edward, John Henry, George, LeRoy, Emma Napier, Virginia Barker, Kathleen Barker and Eleanor Hull; and his sons-in-law, Gene Ward and Michael Pace.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Pace (Richard) of Scottsville, Dale Davis (Edna) of Scottsville and Kathy Pace of Scottsville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home (650 Valley St, Scottsville, VA 24590). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Scottsville Cemetery (400 Hardware St, Scottsville, VA 24590).
