He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashley Bourne and Elizabeth Francis Bourne (Davis); his wife Virginia May Bourne (Tooley); his brother George Ashley Bourne; and his half-sister Helen E. Davis Morris Pleasants.
He is survived by: his stepson Thomas Tooley; and his stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Steward, Angela Jamerson and Christina Tooley. He is also survived by eight step great grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fox Memorial Baptist Church.
