He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Melvin and Edith Pace Spradlin; his brother Richard Spradlin (Dickie); his sister-in-law Alice Spradlin; and his nephews, Scotty and Brian Spradlin.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Herndon Spradlin; his brothers, Herbert Spradlin (Fuzzy) and Wallace Spradlin (Judy); and his friend Grant (Boss Man). He is also survived by two sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
