He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ford and Lois Ford; and his former wife Catherine E. Ford. He is survived by: his wife Winifred M. Fitzgerald of Waynesboro; his children, Megan Catherine Gilmer (Sam) of Scottsville and Brian Daniel Ford of Scottsville; his siblings, Douglas Edward Ford of Danbury, CT, Michael William Ford (Sue) of New Milford, CT, Andrew Russell Ford (Rachael) of Huntington, IN and Carolyn Mary Ford-King of New Milford, CT; and his granddaughter Ivy Elizabeth Gilmer.
