It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Hedgeman Jr. (Scottsville, Virginia), born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Rev. Curtis Hedgeman and Ruby Hedgeman; his sisters, Pamela Robinson and Lolita Owens (Proctor); his sons, Calen Cooper and Christopher Hedgeman; and his close friends, Michele Cook, Shelva Braxton and Robert Dixon. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
All attendees to services will be required to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no formal visitation or family night but friends and family are welcome to pay their respects on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home.
