He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Rubin and Ruby Belle Jones (Eubanks); and his brother Bobbie Jones. He is survived by: his wife Doris S. Jones; his children, Laurie Jones (Earl Cox), Kathryn Groseclose (Tom) and Shields Jones (Joy); and his stepson Barry Manuel (Phoebe). He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other extended family members and friends.
