It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty C. Higgs of Scottsville, Virginia, born in Nelson, Virginia, who passed away on April 30, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Alton Critzer and Ollie Henderson Critzer; and her husband James M. Higgs. She is survived by: her children, James A. Higgs (Jackie) of Stuarts Draft and Donna J. Kingrea (Pete) of Scottsville; her grandchildren, Jessica Rankin, Victoria Kingrea (Tori), Ashley Austin and Kathy Shi; her great grandchildren, Amber, Christopher, Christain, Joel and Ava; and her siblings, Sylvia Cook of Crimora, Laura Love (Susie) of Stuarts Draft and James David Critzer of Crimora.
