He is survived by: his children, Roy Sheldon Morris of Lenoir, Sarah Elizabeth Hipes (William Joseph Hipes) of Schuyler and Amy Marie Aldape (Matt Aldape) of Beeville, Texas; his grandchildren, Erica Lynn Morris, Kaylee Dawn Morris of Lenoir, William Joseph Hipes, Jr. (Molly) of Crozet, Hannah Marie Hipes (Dustin) of Free Union, Hayden Lee Aldape and Abigail Rene Aldape of Beeville, Texas; his great grandchild Arabelle Virginia Hipes of Crozet, Virginia; his brother Leon Morris (Diane) of Greene County, Virginia; and his close friends, Howard Bryant and Rebecca Salada.
