With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert Daniel Moon Jr. of Schuyler, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Grant Moon; and his son Bobby Moon. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Roach and Timothy Moon (Kristin); his grandchildren, Jessica Willis (Garrett), Katelyn Craig (Brandon), Haley Beasley (Brandon) and Macie Moon; his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Alyssa, Grady, Arabella and William; his siblings, Betty-Ann, Butch and Charles; and his caregiver Brenda Moon.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alberene Baptsit Church, 2128 Plank Road, North Garden.
