It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Lee Belew (Schuyler, Virginia), who passed away on October 29, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Eugene Belew; his children, Andrea Rosalie Belew and Jimmy Belew; his siblings, Joann Conley, Eugene "Sonny" Belew, Jr. and Harvey Belew; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Lilly and Johnathan Shaver.
He is survived by: his parent Josephine Belew (Bishop); his wife Margaret Shiflett Belew; his children, Glen Belew, Brenda Lilly (Doug), Tamela Rosas (Oscar), Pamela Cheek (Shane) and Denise Shaver (Kevin); his stepchildren, Douglas Shiflett, Kevin Shiflett, Tammy Mays and Kim Lawson (Brandon Cobbs); his brothers, Paul Belew and Early Belew; his brother-in-law Henry "Billy" Shaver; and his friends, Randy Buckhart, Dan McLaughlin and Ronald Hunt. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
