He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth P. Klinefelter and Geraldine H. Klinefelter; his brother Richard; and his stepsiblings, Kenneth Jr., Martha, Sherry, Carol and Charlotte.

He is survived by: his stepsister Hazel (Bill) of Cartersville.
