She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil B. Rickmond, Sr.; her parents, Junious Wood and Nellie Jones King; and her brothers, Samuel King and Hermon King.

She is survived by: her son Ted Rickmond (Susan) of Saxe, VA; her grandchild Dr. Heath Rickmond (Jackie) of Louisville, KY; her great grandchildren, Ansley and Elias of Louisville, KY.; and her close friend Marion Lenhart.
