He was predeceased by: his son Tony Tatum. He is survived by: his wife Annie Tatum; his children, David C. Tatum (Janet), Melissa Young (late Herman), Todd D. Tatum (Paula) and Penny A. Powell (Wayne); his siblings, Samuel Tatum (Barbara) and Hazel Johnson; and his sister-in-law Lillie Mae Tatum. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
