He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Reed and Betsy Carpenter Reed. He is survived by: his wife Lula May Reed of Sanford; his brothers, John Reed of Pocomoke, MD, Ronnie Reed of Onancock, VA and Robert Reed of Snow Hill, MD.; his children, Benny Reed of Bloxom, VA and Maureen Cody of Snow Hill, MD; his stepchildren, Lena Wood of Sanford, VA, Charles Wood of Pocomoke, MD and Mary Ann Chelton of Melfa, VA; his sister Mary Snead of Bloxom, VA; and his stepgrandson Travis Williams. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
