He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey S. Mawyer and Blanche Loving Mawyer; and his sister Constance M. Temple. He is survived by: his wife Betty Burch Mawyer of Sandston; his sons, Bobby Mawyer (Carol) and Brad Mawyer (Lisa); his grandchildren, Matthew Mawyer, Katie Poppe (Michael), Sarah Ridenhour (Sam), Mason Mawyer (Emily) and Morgan Mawyer; and his great grandchild Emma Ridenhour. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
