He is survived by: his wife Bettie; his son Rahsan; his grandson Tavon; his sisters, Carolyn Freeman (Ernest) of Philadelphia and Jannese Allen (Claude) of Gaithersburg, MD; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Ballard, Alexander Allen, Christian Allen, Karla Ballard, Lila Allen and Joi Allen.
In lieu of flowers, the family informs that any monetary donations will be delivered to the Colonial Capitol Humane Society in New Bern, NC.
