She is survived by: her husband Wayne Yates; her stepson Wayne Lee Yates Jr. (Margo); her daughters, Tracy Jennings (Maurice), Stacy Smith and Laura Leigh (Akram); her sisters, Linda Howell (John), Norma Jean Ward and Lois Burnett; and her grandchildren, Ryan Ransom (Alexis), Bryan Ransom, Wendell Akram Ransom Jr. (Isabel), Danielle Angolemmo (Michael), Nicole Yates, Eric Yates, Connor Jennings and Peyton Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
