He was predeceased by: his son Glenn Scott Hooper; and his mother IV Hooper. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Loving Hooper; and his children, Thurman Hooper Jr. (Jolyn), Jerry Hooper (Kristie), Theresa McGirt (Terry) and Tammy Hooper Stevens (Gene). He is also survived by 15 grandkids and 15 great grandkids who knew him as "Grandaddy".
